Tunes: Pink back with a vengeance

She’s not dead yet. Not by a long shot.
I may be lazy but I’m not dead yet either, and even I didn’t miss this beauty. Pink, with the help and juice of the Indigo Girls, bangs out a quiet, but fierce and poignant, folk tune called, “Dear Mr. President.” The theme is essentially: what would I say to George Bush, or ask him, if I had the chance. Based on the speed with which this clip is zipping around the Internet, it seems we all have some of the same issues.
Also moving to me is how Net citizens have participated by creating their own montages of images and video to the music.
Check out these You Tubers. Even Rosie, which is no surprise. Perez has the live version. Let me know about your favorites.
Politic$: The Politics of Hate are back in style
Hate is just too easy a strategy to ignore, especially in an election year. And we are all too lazy to do anything about it. And by we I mean me. Why is that?
Can’t you just come up with something real, Bill Frist, you pathetic piece of crap? That feels a little better. Queer Beacon has more.
