Serving suggestion:
Prints look best when done on gloss paper using the company printer ink when everyone else is at lunch.
Street: Getting the message across, on the street

As seen on blog.fabrica: “The shape and text was created by power-washing filthy sidewalks using a large stencil form. [..] Sidewalks are usually very filthy and just the thought you could make your point by creating a clean spot instead of a dirty one is one to cherish. This is a form of non-destructive guerrilla marketing in it’s purest form.”
Street: Madrid Scene

Although I love my TV, it really doesn’t deserve to live. Just one more day, please. I need to watch LOST. Finally new episodes.
(As seen on The Wooster Collective.)
Culture Jam: Gorrilaz. Our favorite culture jammers.

OK–This is older, but I really like the idea of it. Gorrilaz created a site to provide stickers and other media to post on (and identify) false cultural icons.
Street: Culture Jamming

I like the idea of this so-called culture-jamming. It has a funky ring to it and seems to take art to the street, by-passing the gallerists and the institutions (except when they are not, such as the case of Tom Sachs). Gallerists and foundations are the Halliburtons and Enrons of the art world, base and corrupt. Their fingers are best removed from real art and work with meaning. In other words, real culture jamming is not taking place at Gagosian. Â
So even when they tag my beloved Starbucks (mmmmm… mocha), I appreciate the sentiment.
