Culture Jam: Gorrilaz. Our favorite culture jammers.

OK–This is older, but I really like the idea of it. Gorrilaz created a site to provide stickers and other media to post on (and identify) false cultural icons.
From Wikipedia about Reject False Icons:
The phrase, “Reject False Icons,” was first mentioned on November 24, 2004 on a Gorillaz mail out to fans. The mail out can be found here. On December 8, the Gorillaz website was re-opened with a brand new music video, “Rock It”, which has the saying “Reject False Icons” at the end. On December 19th, the ‘Reject False Icons’ campaign kicked off with the launch of rejectfalseicons.com. Now fans can submit their photos of ways to spread the message by using graffiti or by sticking ‘Reject False Icons’ stickers that were available for a limited period from the site and from selected record shops in the UK.
Originally, Reject False Icons was going to be the name of the second Gorillaz LP. Noodle has confirmed that Reject False Icons will not be the name of the second Gorillaz LP. In a posting on the Official Gorillaz forums in the ‘Noodleblast’ section, she said, “Reject False Icons is not the name of the new album. It is a meditation.” Later she commented, “Reject False Icons means many things. Think for yourself is one of them.”
Reject False Icons has been featured as a subliminal message in the “O Green World” visual at the live Manchester show.
